1. This laser pen is not included 18650 battery and charger.
2. Install yourself 18650 battery into the laser.Put the negative pole (cathode) into the laser first,that means leave the positive pole (anode) touching the end cap.
3. nstall the end cap. Use the key to make sure it points to green.
4. After installing the battery and end cap correctly, press the power button to turn the laser on.Be aware of that you need to keep pressing the button to keep the power of it.
5. Rotate the head of the laser to change the focus.The more you rotate, the bigger the focus becomes.

Great laser and does amazing at night. I probably wouldn’t let kids use this thing without supervision. I’m an adult and I still wanted to see if I could see it on an airplane. I’m just smart enough not too.
I’m not a fan of the lense cap feature…it has to come completely off to be a single point laser and then it doesn’t have anywhere to go…so in my pocket I guess…or I’ll set it down and lose it forever

If you are looking for one that burns stuff, this isnt for you. If you want that LOOKS like it will burn stuff, but doesnt, you will enjoy this little marvel. I like to pretend im the lighting guy in a rock and roll band!
