EGR Valve Blank Plate for Ford MK7 Transit 2.2 2.4 TDCi for Land Rover 2.4

The blanking plate that fits between the EGR valve and cooler is made from Laser cut 1.5mm Stainless Steel. The cooler plate between the the pipe and cooler is in 2mm Stainless, and has been rumbled to to make them smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal.
The MK7 transits can suffer with leaking EGR Coolers. This can give the impression that the cylinder head gasket has blown. 2 things can happen. (1) gasses leak into the engine coolant which pressurize the system, blowing the water out. I know of quit a few engines that have been wrecked due to this problem. (2) water is forced into the inlet system when left standing, which can lead to hydraulic lock, which also wreck the engine. Just to confuse things, there are 3 different types of EGR Cooler. A round tube with the round end type which this fits, A round tube with a square end, and a Square section tube with square end, which this will not fit. The kit has 2 plates, one to fit on the EGR valve end of the cooler, and 2nd plate (the big one) so one can be fitted between the exhaust manifold and the EGR cooler. The kit will only fit the engines fitted with the ROUND end of the cooler. It will not fit the Square type. The engine Management light will come on, unless the EGR valve has been mapped out.

It fit's the EURO 4 and Euro5 Transit which came in from 2006, 2.2L, 2.4L TDCi PUMA engine.
